Thank you for visiting!

The concept of the "bleeding pen" stems from my first
career as a high school English teacher, a situation no
doubt shared by many other teachers who spend endless
hours grading papers only to have students complain,
"Man! It looks like you bled all over my paper with your red
pen!"

That experience prompted me to embark on my graduate
studies to focus on editing, in hopes of one day applying
my red pen to the works of folks who would actually
appreciate it.

Over the years, my editorial niche has come to be the world
of academic research and professional journals. From
agricultural science to communications, from law to
economics (including proofing my husband's MBA
projects), I've had a hand in editing the writing for
publications in a number of different fields.

I welcome the opportunity to edit writing outside these
subject areas and have experience working with authors
for whom English is a second language.
